My Final Photo Project

Any place near the water, comforts my soul.  This probably has to do with growing up near the beaches in southern California and starting my young adult life living in the state of 10,000 lakes.  About two years ago I stumbled upon South Lake Union and the massive yachts that call that it home.  My eye was quickly drawn to the wooden boats and wood boat-making shops and work areas.  I really wanted to go back to the wooden boat center to use the techniques I had learned over the quarter to re-shoot this area.  I am definitely pleased with the way my images turned out.  The images have an older, yet fresh feel to them.  I feel as though the editing remains true to the content in the image, but still incredibly appealing to the eye.

Darnit, I need to figure out how to rotate!!
